Buying in the Southern Utah Real Estate Area?
Here are some tips to keep in mind as you set out to purchase Hurricane or St. George real estate.
Buying real estate can be either fun and exciting or just plain scary, depending on your past experience or maybe this is your first time buying.

You can do things to prepare to buy St. George or Hurricane real estate even before you look at your first home. These include talking with a lender about a pre-approval letter so you how much home you can afford, and taking the letter when you go out to make an offer. Make notes on what you are really looking for in a home. If you find a home you really like, you don't have to use the entire budget the lender gives you. Many buyers are stuck with a financial crisis because some lenders were practicing preditory lending practices. Be a smart consumer, know your limit and what you can comfortably afford.
Once you know what you want, and what price you can afford, start your search. Either online, which most people do, or give us a call and we can start a search with, your criteria, in the area you want.

Your lender will get you a good rate on your loan, lock it in and complete the paperwork for the underwriters to approve your loan. (My Sandpoint real estate contact has excellent articles on how to obtain a mortgage.)

The seller's and their agent are completing any repairs or requests in the inspection contingency and packing to move.
